I bought a new laptop computer with Vista on it. It came with Word 2007
trial. I'm trying it. Not too impressed so far... On a new page, I type a
couple of lines and want to go back to retype or select the paragraph, but
the whole thing is in hang mode. The mouse is ignored, the up-down arrows
are working (sometimes) and I can sometimes continue to type, but I cannot
select with the moue and then the whole thing goes dead. I am now on "You
can use the thing 15 times more" But have not had a chance to try it yet
because the only way to get out of this is to close it and start over.

Maybe I should wait for the next update/version and explore it then? still
have my 2003 disks.

Using Vista Home Premium, 2G memory, word 2007 and a Microsoft optical mouse
(which works fine elsewhere)
