Default Styles applying incorrectly

Hi,

My problem is that when i try to add a style, i.e. Bold, Underline, Bullet,
etc... the style applies to the whole document, and from there i have to
"CTRL-Z" to have the style apply correctly to the highlighted text. This can
be a real nightmare on a long document as the document may "freeze" until
the style has been applied "incorrectly" to the whole document.

Anyone help me with this one?

Many thanks in advance for any and all help.

Best Regards
Darren

What you are applying is not a style but direct font formatting. See

Suzanne,

You are a star. Thank you so much for your help. That was exactly my
problem, not in 2002 but in 2003. This cured the problem all the same.

Best regards,
Darren
