Why can't I download a template from Microsoft?
When I try to download a template from the Microsoft site, it says my Key is
not correct. I tried this three times, very carefully checking my key after I entered it. |

Please post back with the URL of the site from which you are trying to
download the template. -- Please respond to the Newsgroup for the benefit of others who may be interested. Questions sent directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis. I think I may know the answer now. When I bought my computer, Office 2003 was
installed on my computer ready to be activated if I paid for it. I have Office 2002, which I installed on this computer, instead of upgrading. The clue came when I went back and tried it again and noticed it was trying to open Office 2003, which I don't have, and it is finding the license is not correct for 2003. I just need to figure out how to get the template not to try to open 2003, and to open 2002 instead. That's probably more of a problem than I should be asking about here. The site I was using was the Microsoft Template site. Sorry for taking up your time. You should use the Add Remove Software item on the Control Panel to remove
