Suddenly Word 2002 does not show typed email addresss as the blue hyperlink.

I understand you can insert/hyperlink and add address but previously you
could just type and the blue hyperlink would be automatic.

Is there something to "turn on"

In Word, click on Tools | AutoCorrect Options | AutoFormat As You
Type | check the "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks" box
| OK.
