Table of contents getting replaced, not updating.
I've added 5 pages to a 33 page document. When I try to update the table of
contents, the TOC for the first 28 pages disappears and is replaced by the TOC headings from the 5 newest pages. Can't seem to figure out why it's not just updating the existing TOC and adding the new info to the TOC entries already there. |

Did you create the original document or inherit it from someone else? If the
latter, my guess would be that the TOC was compiled manually and that the first 28 pages contain no actual heading styles (and hence nothing for the TOC field to find). -- Suzanne S.
