Prior to a full system recovery i was able to save documents on the desktop
when using Word 2003. after reinstalling the the microsoft office 2003 i was
using the Word 2003 and when i went to"save as" and chose the destop, instead
of all the titles of the icons on the desktop beginning to list al i got fro
the desktop was "my computer", "network' and "my documents" under the
desktop. What is going on here? I have this same program on my notebook and

Perhaps following your full system recovery that is all there is on your
desktop until you save something there.

G'Day Mike,

Just go ahead, select Desktop and Save!

AFTER the Save, you will see THAT saved document in
the Save As dialog.
