keep a window to display all shot cut keys for better knowledge
if there is a window which diplay all the short cut keys, it will be good to
educate people like us. if that window could be provided very open page of windows it could be very friendly to find by all people. so that people can be educated by thier own. Now a days all need to know the short cut keys but finding dificulty to analyse perticular short cut.. most are confused or findind difficulty to learn the short cuts even though its available in menu bar. it will be good if u can provide all the shortcuts in a songle window and that could be findable and accessed easily. so that the people can learn by mugging all shortcuts and experiencing through work on. Because myself and most of our friends finds difficulty in this.. now days most people here are going to some coaching class to learn all about this shortcuts.. it will be well good if you have some training kit attached with it for better understanding of shortcuts.. i hope ypu will consider this small suggestion from my liitle thoughts.. thankings ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Pre-2007 versions also have a nice "Function Key Display" toolbar that shows all the keyboard shortcuts (and changes if you hold down Shift, Alt, Ctrl, or combinations).
Regards, Klaus "Terry Farrell" wrote: It is already available in Word. Which version are you using? In Word 2007, it is under Word Options, Advanced tab under the Display settings: Show Shortcut Keys in Screen Tips. You turn on Screen Tips in Word Options, Display Tab: Show Document Tooltips on Hover. You can also search for 'Keyboard Shortcuts in Microsoft Word' under Help. You can also print out a list of all your Key Assignments (most versions) from the Print dialog by selecting Key Assignments from the Print What box. -- Terry Farrell - MS Word MVP |

kaufmann.de: Pre-2007 versions also have a nice "Function Key Display" toolbar that shows all the keyboard shortcuts (and changes if you hold down Shift, Alt, Ctrl, or combinations). How do I access it in Word 2003? I see no "Function Key Display" toolbar, nor anything similar, in my View | Toolbars menu. -- Stan Brown, Oak Road Systems, Tompkins County, New York, USA http://OakRoadSystems.com/ "If there's one thing I know, it's men. (Toolbars tab)". As the name says, it's just for the shortcuts involving function keys. It's useful for getting acquainted with them for a while, rather than for permanent use. Klaus |
