How do I adjust the length of a bottom border so I can type on it
I am trying to make a form but do not want everything in a table. I am
trying to put lines on the page that later can be typed on with the computer. I am trying to design a template for a form that I can use over and over but the way I am doing it, either the line splits or the border line is all the way across the page. |

You might have a look at the following articles:
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Custom...nTheBlanks.htm http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFl...nesInForms.htm as well as the links there. For what you want to do & form design in general, however, I don't think you'll be able to avoid the use of tables altogether... but note the use of the plural as suggested in the articles;-) HTH |:) Bob Jones [MVP] Office:Mac On 1/12/08 5:19 PM, in article , "Susan" wrote: I am trying to make a form but do not want everything in a table.
