If Word promts you to open a read-only copy, just answer in the affirmative
and then do the following: At the upper left of your screen, click "File" and then "Save as" and then type in another name for the document. Word will save it and then you will have a clean copy. In this new document, click "tools""options""security", and uncheck the box which says, " "read only recommended" (if it is checked) Then save it. This is your new copy of the document and you can do what you please. If not, let me know, as I have done a bit of speculating as to what you are experiencing. -- Y "aqw" wrote: I save my word document, then went back to get it, But it came back blank saying read only. |
