Hyperlink base
I'm using Word 2000
I set my hyperlink base to a global drive where we store all of our approved procedures. It works great when I hyperlink to external documents. However, now when I try to use a hyperlink to a bookmark within my current document, it still prepends the hyperlink base, even though it is using the \l switch. How do I get my internal links to bookmarks to work correctly now? Thanks! -- Rita |

I am having a similar problem. We are putting a new policy and procedures
manual on the web. The documents were created in Word, and will appear on the website as Word documents. A table of contents has been created within each chapter. The problem we are haveing is that it works for some people, and not for others. At first I thought it was a 98 v. XP sitiuation, but have since discovered people who use XP for whom the links work. Any suggestions on how we may get this to work. It is a possible setting issue within Word, Windows, or Explorer? We appreciate any insight. I would give a link, but am unable to do so until we release to the public Friday afternoon.
