Default How do I install Microsoft Word 2000 into my computer?

I took a class to learn how to use Microsoft Word 2000 at school, and I want
to learn how to install it into my computer. Any help?

The first step is to buy the software.

Word 2000 is not only not produced any more, it's so old that it's no
longer supported by Microsoft. (That doesn't mean it's bad or that it
stops working, just that you can't get help from MS if something goes
wrong.) You can still buy copies on EBay and from other online
vendors, but be aware of what you're buying and from whom -- there are
lots of scammers out there selling pirated copies.

You may prefer to go for Word 2002, which is part of Office XP and is
also part of Works Suite; or Word 2003 as part of Office 2003
(particularly the Student & Teacher Edition). These are available at
office stores, Amazon.com, Wal-Mart, etc.

Once you have the CD, installing it is just a matter of putting the
disk into the drive and following the prompts.
