my staus bar shows a page no 21 for the first page of a document
But the page number and the total number of pages based on the physical page
count in the document is correct. Why this happened so? |

What you are seeing is the starting page number for the current
section. Use the Page Number Format dialog box to change it: Choose View | Header and Footer. On the Header and Footer toolbar, click the Format Page Number button.
