how do i change the format of even numbered pages?
I have a document 100 pages in length. I wish to change the formatting of
all the even numbered pages, so that they are indented slightly further than the odd ones. Is there an automatic way of doing this without having to manually change every even page? Thanks. |

You can use "Mirror margins" and either increase one margin or add a gutter,
but the extra space will be added to the Inside or Outside (that is, alternate sides of odd and even pages). For a different approach, see the "More complex letterhead" section of http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/Letterhead.htm, which describes how to use a frame or text box anchored to the header to create an artificial margin. -- Suzanne S. From the File menu, select Page Setup and then go to the Margins tab, and
set a value for the gutter margin to suit your requirements and from the Multiple Pages pulldown, select Mirror margins. -- Hope this helps.
