can't add to recipients list
I created my data source in Word 2003 when I try to add recipients the edit
button is unavailable. I don't want to do it in Access because the other people in the office don't know how to use access? Can you tell me how to fix this? |

can't add to recipients list
Try this:
1. Open a blank Word document 2. Make sure your "Mail Merge" toolbar is showing. Choose View Toolbars, and select "Mail Merge" 3. Choose Tools, Mail Merge, Get Data, and Open Data Source 4. You will see a button on the toolbar which looks like a spreadsheet and a pencil. That is the "Edit Data Source" button. From here, you should be able to add to your Data Source, or view the Source document Hope this works!! Use the data source with a Directory type mailmerge main document in which
the place the merge fields in the cells of a one row table. Then execute that merge to a new document which will give you a document containing a table with one row of data for each record in the data source. Insert a row at the top of that table and into the cells of that row, insert the names of the merge fields. Then you can edit that document, add rows to it for new records etc. and save it and use it as the data source for your other mail merges. -- Hope this helps.
