Default How do I copy multiple text boxes?

I've tried to follow the help directions to copy multiple text boxes (along
with the content), but to no avail. I select the text box (with the 4-headed
arrow), then try to hold "shift" to select other liked text boxes, but it
doesn't work. Any ideas?
