How can I make the date not changeable in word documents as opened
Each time I receive a word document the date updates since users do not lock
the field. How can I open the file and have the original date kept? thanks |

Hi Stefania

When you create a document yourself, you can choose a different field altogether (CREATEDATE, SAVEDATE, PRINTDATE), or lock a field, or insert the date as normal text. 2cents Robert -- /"\ ASCII Ribbon Campaign | MS \ / | MVP X Against HTML | for / \ in e-mail & news | Word |
