Upon opening a Word template, I'm unable to see a header or footer on my PC, however, my colleagues on other PCs are having no trouble. Any ideas?

You might have "Show white area" turned off. Move the cursor underneath the page until it turns to arrows. Click there, then your margins etc will be correct.
