How can I find my old macros?
Those macros and AutoText entries should have been preserved if you
installed Office 2007 over Office 2003, but they will not have been transferred to the new Normal.dotm and Building Blocks.dotx. Use the information in http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...ocNotBlank.htm to locate Normal.dotm. In the same location, you should find Normal11.dot, which stores your settings from Word 2003. The article at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...ffice.12).aspx explains how to convert it to a Normal.dotm that will incorporate these customizations (it also tells how to migrate your AutoText). -- Suzanne S. I created a ton of macros/autotext in Word 2003. I do not know a lot about computer language, so answers that tell me "where" to go and not "how" to get there do not help me. Please tell me, step by step, how to find my old macros and how to transfer them into my new Microsoft 2007. I'm having serious trouble with adjusting to Microsoft 2007. |
