Cant' get word.mvps spellcheck macro to function
I am unable to get the spell check macro to function in protected Word files.
Ive downloaded the SpellcheckSample.zip and compared it to a document Ive set up and everything appears to be identical. However when I protect the form, even without a password, Spelling and Grammar is ghosted out unlike it is in the sample form. |

The built-in function is still going to be greyed out, even with the macro
installed. You have to replace the built-in command with your own link to the macro (in your template or document, not in normal.dot) and/or replace F7 key assignment. See step 3 of http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/...ProtectDoc.htm. Do not retype the macro. Ok, I get it now. Thanks.
I've been reading what it has said for a while now and it has finally clicked. "Charles Kenyon" wrote: The built-in function is still going to be greyed out, even with the macro installed.
