printing reviewing pane comments

Default I can't print comments made in reviewing pane mode. Why?

Using track changes, aren't comments made in reviewing pane mode, rather than
as balloons, displayed as notes at the bottom of each page in which they
occur?

If so, then why don't they print out at the bottom of the page? I haven't
saved the document yet. Does it have to be saved before the comments will
print as end of page or end of document notes?

Comments made as balloons print fine.

No. If you have balloons turned off, and include "Markup" in the print out, then
they'd be at the end of the document.

Footnotes would do what you describe...
