Default For a mail merge, how do you change the case in the merged documen

In a mail merge (using an excel spreadsheet as the database), how can you
edit the text for the suburb (when its in small caps) to appear in caps for
the merged word document. This is to be used when sending out large amount's
of mail, that needs to be addressed correctly.

Hi ?B?TWljaGVsbGU=?=,

In a mail merge (using an excel spreadsheet as the database), how can you
edit the text for the suburb (when its in small caps) to appear in caps for
the merged word document.

you can add formatting switches to the merge fields in the Word main merge
document.

Searching Format (\*) field switch in Word's Help turns up some useful
switches. In order to force all caps, use: \* CAPS

In order to edit the field codes of the merge fields, use Alt+F9 to toggle the
field codes on/off. The end result should look something like this:

{ Mergefield Suburb \* CAPS }
