Default Remove Highlighted formatting from Text and leave as was before

Hi

I have a document in Word 2003 where words have been highlighted using the
highlight tool on the formatting toolbar.

How can I easily remove the highlight and return the text to its original
look?

Thanks in advance.

Open the Replace dialog and click the More button.

Put the cursor in the Find What box, click the Format button, and choose
Highlight -- the line under the Find What box should say "Format: Highlight".

Now put the cursor in the Replace With box, click the Format button, and choose
Highlight; then click Format again and choose Highlight again -- the line under
the Replace With box should say "Format: Not Highlight".

Click the Replace All button.

Another way to do it is simply to select the entire document (Cntl - A) and
then click on the highlight tool and select None.
