Add "toggle read only" button in Word, as in Excel.
"toggle read only" is a button that may be added to any toolbar in Excel
(Tools, Customize, File category.) I find this button very useful, for instance when I open a spreadsheet from "My Recent Documents" which was last not opened read-only, but I want it read-only now; or when I open a spreadsheet read-only, but then want to makje and save a change. This is not available in Word, I would like it available there too. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
