W2000 Won't print from lower tray
I am using a brochure template from Paperdirect, and no matter what I do,
Word will not draw paper from Tray1; it will only accept manual feeds into the top (Brother laser printer). I've changed the settings in Tools/Options, AND in Print/Properties, but it's still refusing. I can't print 100 brochures by hand-feeding them one at a time. Any help would be most appreciated. Check the paper tray setting in the document itself (Paper or Paper Source

I tried to use "page setup," but it is greyed out. I don't know if it's
something specific to this template, but this is really a pain. Thank you in advance for anything you can suggest. "Suzanne S. Is the template a protected form? If so, unprotect it and change the paper

PLEASE pardon my ignorance, but it still won't work.
I have: 1) Gone into Tools/Protect Document and un-checked each section. 2) Saved & reloaded the document. I still have the "page setup" menu item greyed out. I really wouldn't hassle this if I had a workaround, but I just can't feed all these brochures manually. Thank you very much for your continued efforts. "Suzanne S. When you say "un-checked each section," are you talking about the Protect
Document task pane? If so, you don't have Word 2000 but 2003. This might make a difference. -- Suzanne S. No, it really is Word 2000. Under Tools/Protect Document, there is a checkbox
for Forms; if I check it, the "sections" button is available, and it shows 2 sections which can each be protected. I've unprotected both, and also then clicked on "Unprotect Document" when I went into Tools again. Isn't this a LOT of work just to choose the paper bin? Thanks for your continued efforts. Okay, that makes sense. Yes, it is a lot of work, and if I were you I would
complain to PaperDirect, especially if you paid for the template. One more thing to check: see if there is a macro (Tools | Macro | Macros) for FilePageSetup. If so, it could be intercepting (and blocking) the Page Setup command. -- Suzanne S.
