Use the database as the datasource for a Directory type mailmerge in the
main document of which you have a one row table with a mergefield in each cell of that table. When you execute that merge to a new document, that document will contain a table with one row of data for each record in the datasource. Edit the data there and then insert a row at the top of the table into the cells of which you insert the names of the mergefields. Then save that document and use it as the datasource for your mailmerge. -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis. Alternatively activate the old mailmerge helper (see
http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_lab...th_word_xp.htm ) whereby the edit data source option will convert the MDB file to a Word document which you can do what you want with. That will then be the data source for the merge. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org |
