Default filling in an online job application in word

I am filling in a NHS job application form that was constructed in word. The
form has check boxes that I am unable to check/uncheck. I have read that you
need to first protect the form before you can do this but I am unable to
select the protect icon from the forms toolbar. Any ideas?

Default filling in an online job application in word

Hi Will

It sounds like the form has not been set up properly. You may be able to get
it to open in "real" Word (and not within the browser). See

How do I control how a Word document opens from the internet or an intranet?

Hope this helps.
