Why is it that when I hit the Tab button, it moves the entire page/paragraph
over? I just want the first line indented of each paragraph! it's so
frustrating!

Go to Styles for the style you're using and uncheck the automatic update box
and the other one too; forget what it's called; they're on the same line.

indent."

Word 2002 or 2003: Tools | AutoCorrect Options | AutoFormat As You Type:
Clear "Set left- and first-indent with tabs and backspaces."
