"save as" Word docs
After upgrade from Office 97 to 03 I can not "save as" Word docs that were
created in 97. The upgrade deleted the older program and updated the existing files. Help! |

This should not be a problem, since the file format is the same. If
you look at the Compatibility tab of ToolsOptions, you'll find that the "Recommended options for" indicates the Word version where the document was created. Note also that the Save tab allows you to disable formatting introduced in recent releases of Word. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "ironhorse" wrote in message ... Stefan, you are absolutely right. It should not be a problem. Without any
changes to the files or system, the "save as" function is now working properly. It's still a mystery. Thanks for your response.
