Word mail merge inserts the underlying data without the Excel formatting.
Use a formatting switch to reformat in the manner you want it to appear - see http://www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org 0greeny0 wrote: When i open the data from an excel sheet some of the figures have got a large number of decimal places witihn them.
