Default Markup/track changes

I have a gentleman in my office who would like to cut and paste a section
from a 50-page document, and save it to a new document, all the while saving
the tracked changes that he's made to the document, so they appear in the new
one. Is that possible, and if so, how?

Hi ?B?amxkdWJl?=,

from a 50-page document, and save it to a new document, all the while saving
the tracked changes that he's made to the document, so they appear in the new

I actually had tried what you suggested in the other post, but when track
changes is OFF in the new document, nothing shows as a change, and when track
changes is ON in the new document, the entire item is shown as a change--in
other words, it's all the same color....
