Default Table of Content problem in Word 2007

Hi All,

Using Vista Ultimate 64 bits.

I am having a problem when trying to build Table Of Contents in Word. Some
of items are not been picked up even though they were marked as Heading 2 Or
Heading 3. If erase the whole string and re-type it, in some cases it fixed
itself.

The TOC code is: {TOC \ o "1-3" \h \z \u}
I copied the content to a new document and still the same problem but some
headers were picked up ok

Any idea how to resolve this problem.

Thanks,

Joe

Default Table of Content problem in Word 2007

Hi JoeP,

Mmmm. Sounds like this could be some damage in the paragraph marks (rather
than at the document level). If that's the case, something like this can be a
real pain to clean up.

I guess the first thing I'd try is saving to a file format such as RTF. File
converters tend to sift through accumlated junk and conflicting information so
that, if the problem isn't fixed the "bad points" at least become obvious.

So, try saving as RTF or Word 6/95 file format. Close, then re-open and see if
anything has changed...
