How do I drag pictures straight into Word 2000?
I am using Word 2000 and Windows XP. I have just done a full restore on my PC
and am trying to get everything back to how it was. I used to be able to drag a picture straight from Windows Explorer into a Word document (open both windows side by side, and drag the file from Explorer into Word) and then picture would be displayed in Word. Now when I do it, it inserts a link to the file, rather than the actual picture. I have trawled through all the settings, but cannot find how to change it anywhere? Any suggestions? Thanks very much for your help. Regards Mav |

It SHOULD work???
But you can also try RIGHT clicking on the image and dragging...then click Copy Here from the menu that will appear when you release. Good luck... Dian D.
