Default I need a template where users can tab to fields

I'm creating a letter template where users may tab to fields like address,
salutation, letter text, etc. I keep trying but when ever I tab it pushes
the fields. Should I be using Insert, Field?

If you want to keep the document editable then macrobutton fields are
probably the best bet - see http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm

In a non-protected form, the F11 key will move to the next field. To use
tabs, you need
what Word calls an "online form." Check this in help. For more about online
forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.

Hope this helps,

You still won't be able to use Tab, but you can use F11 to go to the next
field.
