I only want certain toolbars displayed when I open a new document. How do I
keep it from reseting itself everytime I open word, or saving the display to
a document.

Save the settings you want in normal.dot - eg

Some settings will be saved with documents. To override those you'll need to
set your preferences in an autoopen macro
