Default envelope printing

Use Windows XP -- MS Word -- Hewlitt Packard Printer:
Prints name and address one time only for a single envelope.
To print another envelope I only get wingdings (no names or addresses).
Screen goes to a blank document page with cursor to type a message?
I read HELP and searched the INDEX for a solution - no luck.

Previously I had no problem with W-98, 2nd Edition. Just got new Dell computer
but using same printer HP Deskjet 870Cse. Also installed Norton Systemworks
so tried disabling it but get same problem.
Click Envelopes - Set up required figurations - Click Apply then Print.
Everything disappears and goes to blank Document sheett with cursor in place
to type a message.

It is difficult to see what is wrong from that explanation, but your new PC
will have a different printer driver so check out its settings. You may find
it easier to work with an envelope template - there are samples you can
download from my web site.
