Default how can I get a saved file from before when I save again on it?

I save a .doc file and later I save on it deleting the information before, is
it any way to get the first information back? does Word save it anywhere?

No, if you didn't save it, then Word didn't either--*unless* you have
"Always create backup copy" enabled on the Save tab of Tools | Options, in
which case you should look for a "Backup of filename.wbk" file in the same
folder as the document. This will be the previous version.

Assuming that you performed a save operation, but didn't close the file, you
can use Undo.

On the other hand, if you replaced the file by saving a new file by the same
name, then you won't be able to recover the original.

To avoid problems in the future, make sure to back up your work. See
http://www.gmayor.com/automatically_backup.htm.
