Default wordperfect for windows 98

hi i seem to be missing my word perfect for windows 98. We are currently
running windows ME. But for some reason we do not have a word program. I
really need it for resumee writing and journal keeping and log entries and so
forth. I have looked on the microsoft updates and all i find is update. I
need to download a complete office program maybe even a newer one. Can you
helf

Default wordperfect for windows 98

Word Perfect is not a Microsoft product. Word is their word processing
program. It is not free. Because you are still running Windows ME, you
can;'t run the current version. Word 2002 is that last version to run on Win
ME.

You're going to have to get ready to spend some money - and do some
searching for an older software program.

Default wordperfect for windows 98

That's good - I know a lot of people who are still using 98. My "craptop"
does but I have Office XP Pro on it. It's good info to keep tucked away just
in case a friend wants a more current version of Word.
