Default switches in MS Word

My database shows R/R but when I merge to Word it shows up as RR. How do I
get the "/" character to print? What switch formula do I use?

Hi ?B?a2FyaXJpcmk=?=,

My database shows R/R but when I merge to Word it shows up as RR. How do I
get the "/" character to print?

What's the database format (program)? Version of Word?
