Default How do I get rid of text boxes and leave the text?

I am editing a document that was scanned and converted using ocr software.
Some of the text was brought in in text boxes.

I need to elimnate the text boxes and keep the text. I know that I can copy
the text and paste it outside the box.

But, is there a simpler way?
