shaded mark up area
i have word 2007 and have changed the review markup to final copy. i have
saved the file. when i reopen the file the shaded grey area to the left of my document reappears. is there a default or command that i can institute to eliminate the shaded area and not have it reappear after i saved the file. |

Hi Audrey,
Are you talking about the shaded area that is attached to the document page rather than the usual grey background of Print layout view that is part of the zoom level you're working in? Did you accept or reject the changes to incorporate them into the document, or only switch the Tracking preview to 'Final'?
