Outline numbering
Hi all,
I've just tried to number my outline in Word and instead of automatically adjusting my numbering upon a Tab press, all I get is 1. Introduction 2. ......... when I want 1. intro 1.1 ...... Any ideas? Thanks! |

If you want to use the TAB key to change to a lower numbering level,
do the following (depending on your version of Word): For Word 2000 and earlier: Tools Options Edit: "Tabs and backspace set left indent." For Word 2002 and later: Tools AutoCorrect AutoFormat As You Type: "Set first and left indent with tabs and backspaces." -- Stefan Blom "AndyB" wrote in message ...
