Default how do i set up a password in word

I want to set up a password in the MS word document, after closing a
particular document, while opening it asks for a password.

Default how do i set up a password in word

In the Save As dialog, there is a pull down (it is called Tools in Word
2007) but maybe something different in earlier versions) from which you need
to select General Options and then you will see the necessary controls to
set the password for the document. DO NOT LOSE the password.
