The auto entered line created by autoformat as you type is a border. To draw
a line of a given length you need the line drawing tools from the drawing toolbar (Insert shapes in Word 2007). You can save the line as an autotext/autocorrect entry for ease of repetition. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org MISS_DUKE wrote: How can I draw a Horizontal line with a desired length in Microsoft Word? (Like the same I will have multiple lines). Using autoshape seems messy and difficult to place where we want. Are there any other ways? Thank you. -- MISS_DUKE |

I have to ask, what kind of document are you creating where someone is going
to measure your underline? -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] Tech Editor for "Microsoft Publisher 2007 For Dummies" "MISS_DUKE" wrote in message ...
