Default Restore first letter to drop down contact list.

I lost the capability of typing the first letter of an email recipient and
getting a drop down list of all those with that first letter. In other
words, if I typed an M all those M names on my contact list would drop down.
I lost this feature. How can I restore it?
Thanks

I think you are more likely to get a reply if you resubmit this question in
the O. E. section as this one relates to queries in Word. S F
