Default Indenting a paragraph

Hello,
I am manually writing a Table of Contents. One of the items in the list is
quite

lengthy. I'd like the entire caption to be indented under a number. For
instance:

2. Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak
Yak
Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak

Thank you in advance for your help!!!

This is called a hanging indent. You can manually apply a hanging indent to
the first tab stop using Ctrl+T, or you can use Format | Paragraph. For
lines that wrap in a TOC, you are also well advised to add a right indent to
the style so that TOC entries will wrap short of the tab stop used for the
page number.

Thanks, Suzanne for giving me the name of what I described. I believe I'm on
my way. Presently, I'm not quite up on styles, but perhaps at a later date,
I'll learn how to use them.

Bye!
Ellen
