Default page number help

My document needs to begin on page 17, which is located in the footer. I
have entered "17" has my "start with" number. But all the pages are numbered
"17". Can anyone help?
Thanks

Default page number help

Do you have section breaks, instead of auto or manual page breaks, separating
your pages? If that is so, then you need to go into each section€”after the
one for page 17€”and change the page number setting to continuous.
