Default Word crashes when opening document from network

Hi,

A user with Word 2000 and Windows 98 cannot open documents off a certain
network folder. They can open them from other network folders fine and if
they copy a document from the problem folder to thier desktop, it will also
open fine. It is only affecting this one user and it is only when they open
a document from this one particular network folder, word crashes with an
illigal op?? Any ideas please?

Thanks.

Are there any temp files in that network folder that need to be deleted?
Can't think of any other reason...
