Default Temporary files beginning with ~wrc

Running on TS Server 2003, users sometime launch a word doc from another DB
app (Saleslogix). After a short while, the file name at the top chnages to
~wrc... type file. Then they save and the chnages are not saved to the
original doc. I see that a ~wrc file is a word copy doc, but why is it made
and when ?

I think you first need to contact the people that "own" Saleslogix. It sounds
like something in their application may be at fault.

It is not Saleslogix that creates the file, although you might be right in
what you say. I still need to know under what circumstances Word will perform
this action. I suspect its a network loss on the file or something like that.
I can find only one article on Msoft about ~wrc temp files and all it says is
that is a copy of a word file. Nothing on why is should exist.
