Default Duplicating Contents of Content Controls

I'm creating a series of forms. Some of the text that a user will fill in
using a content control will be repeated two or three times throughout the
course of the document. I thought it would be easy enough to insert a field
with the equivalent of a "REF" code to accomplish this, but it turns out that
you can't "REF" to content controls like I expected.

Any advice as to how I might get this done?

I am not really sure what you mean by Content Controls, but whatever they
are, you can probably use code to create document variables that contain the
content of the controls and the content of the document variables can be
displayed in the document by the use of DOCVARIABLE fields

Hope this helps.

Content controls are new in Word 2007; they are the latest whizbang way to
create forms (much better than form fields).

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...ntent+controls should point
