Default Briem Script is on my PC but not on my MSWord font list. Why?

I have Briem Script font on my PC (BRIEMSCR.TTF) and used to use it often.
For some reason it does not now show up on the list of fonts when I display
them while in MS Word. ???

Is the font file installed in the Windows Fonts folder?
